A set of 42 hard-hitting cards, each one of which displays one statement about sexual topics. Many of these statements have actually been claimed by students during sex and relationships lessons, and reveal that, although young people today have far greater access to sexual information and knowledge than previous generations, that knowledge can be frighteningly patchy or based on myths passed on by friends.

Some cards have been designed to be deliberately ambiguous to show the importance of identifying exactly what is meant as many wrong beliefs develop because students misunderstand what they are told.

There are 6 different sections:

▪ Relationships
▪ Contraception
▪ Pregnancy:
▪ STIs
▪ The Internet
▪ Porn

The card set is a flexible resource that can be used with individual
students, in small groups or an a class setting. It will provoke much
discussion and enquiry and so help, not only to allay the myths and half-truths, but also promote frank discussion on sensitive subjects.
