Let’s Talk Behaviour Kit in a Bag for Early Years
Lots of practical visual tools to support positive behaviour in early years.
This kit in a bag has been designed for use in Early Years, Foundation and KS1.
There are lots of practical resources to help support positive behaviour all responding to the fact that most children are visual learners.
The book ‘Lets talk behaviour’ has been written by Wendy Usher and contains over 50 ideas to support positive behaviour in early years. This is a photocopiable resource where simple ideas can be very effective to support young children’s behaviour.
Additionally the kit contains a set of posters using visual structure which can be used to remind children of appropriate behaviour. These are all double laminated and can be used to draw on with a dry board marker.
The kit also contains colourful mood bands. These are worn by the children to help identify how they are feeling at any one point in time. Children wear them with the green side facing to indicate they are feeling ‘OK’ if they turn them over to the red side it indicates they are ‘Not OK’. This simple idea really makes a difference empowering children to tell you how they feel rather than telling you through their behaviour.
